What a fun read! I mean, a Hipster Brothel, boozie jam and the ultimate Lumbersexual Experience.It was a great story of two best friends, one straight, who had no idea that they were secretly madly crushing on each other. Friends to lovers is the best and this was awesome.
Jo was Chinese and small, extremely stylish and supposedly straight. Mr. B was all lumberjack, from the suspenders to the wooly socks. Total opposites, yet the worked so well.
I just loved this. It was cozy and cute, funny and intense, warm and HOT.
Totally recommend this.

I usually love anything written by K.A Merikan, but I couldn't finish this book. The dialogue and banter between the ex and friend/lover just seemed extremely silly. I got to 55% and just couldn't go any further. Maybe one day when I'm really bored, and have nothing else to do with my time I'll finish this book. But, until that time arrives I'll stick to books that can hold my attention!
Another romance with realistic characters who are searching for their schoolmates. Funny at times. Modern and contemporary. Believable situations. Enjoyable read.

Lumbersexual shenanigans around the campfire? Gimme s'more! Not quite sure what to think of rose hip jam or liquor, but fill a donut hole and I'm sold.
This book was silly, ridiculous and fun. It almost makes no sense, but it was still fun watching these two guys realize their love for each other and give in to their sexual urges. There is a nice epilogue at the end where you get closure on everything and it makes for a hot afternoon read.

This was a pretty cozy read and much fluffier than most books I’ve read by KA Merikan. It’s a lot less brothel and sex work than title may suggest, but the idea of the hipster brothel is very much a central aspect of the story. I have some mixed feelings on how Jo talked about his bisexuality (gay side, etc), but did relate to his feelings about PDA and being out with his first boyfriend. I really enjoyed the cozy comfort of food and B is a pretty sweet character.

A wonderfully sweet, sexy, slightly angsty read that had this reader squealing with anticipation of a hidden love in the unlikeliest of places through moments of laughter and heart-felt revelations.
